Site http://www.seattlepi.com/local/389795_projects28.html
Publisher : By CHRIS McGANN
P-I CAPITOL CORRESPONDENT
Audience For people who believe that the stimulus will rescue our country and also the job rate will increase.
Timeliness Last updated November 27, 2008, Yes it is old, it was written 5 months ago, therefore it is already not a 100% accurate
Sales hook (yes, it wants to make the people know and understand that our country is in recession but that there are plans and ideas which will get the country out of debt.
When I was looking for this article, I went to Google.com and typed in: ‘for the federal stimulus package’. I was looking at different articles that were also posted, but this seems accurate to me because it was published in www.seattlepi.com which is a good site for the government and news information.
B. AGAINST
Title: “The Economic Stimulus Package at Mid-Stream: The Role of State and Local Governments”
Site: http://www.jstor.org.rpa.laguardia.edu:2048/stable/3329768?&Search=yes&term=federal&term=package&term=stimulus&list=hide&searchUri=%2Faction%2FdoBasicSearch%3FQuery%3Dagainst%2Bfederal%2Bstimulus%2Bpackage%2B%26wc%3Don&item=2&ttl=1700&returnArticleService=showArticle ( JSTOR)
Publisher: Publius, Vol. 9, No. 1, The State of American Federalism, by: John P. Ross and Susannah E. Calkins
Audience: The audience is the people, who are presented with the plan from the government about the Stimulus Package, but the article also captures the negative aspects of that plan.
Timeliness: The article is not accurate, it was published in Winter, 1979
Sales Hook: It explains the role of the states as well as the local government which is the people and what part of the package they would have, as well as how they would manage it all with in their communities that would later result in building a whole.
When I was searching for this information I went to JSTOR, I have typed in the search engine: against stimulus package, and there I found this article, which I knew was kind of old, because the way people looked at things years ago is completely contradictory to what is happening in the world now
